‘Anna had the audience locked on to her presentation from start to finish. She unfolded a fascinating story of literary detective work, tracing the lives of her Polish grandmother and her family, and the audience couldn’t wait for a formal question-and-answer period at the end — they threw in questions as the session went along, and she handled them brilliantly and honestly.’ Chris, committee member of Williamstown Literary Festival
‘I couldn’t allow the moment to pass without letting you know how much I enjoyed your Workshop on Friday. You have such wonderful energy and enthusiasm for your work. It’s contagious. I was so inspired … It was a privilege and a pleasure to spend a couple of hours in your company.’ Fay, participant in a writing workshop run by Anna as part of Stonnington Council’s ‘Untitled’ literary event

School visits
Anna Ciddor’s fun, lively presentations are full of audience participation and ‘show and tell’ – even when they have to be online! The audience respond with great enthusiasm, while teachers appreciate the little hints and advice that apply to the students’ own work.
‘Your visit far exceeded my expectations and the students, both boys and girls, were totally engaged in your hour long talk. Thank you for being so very generous with your time. You have great interaction with the students, and had them on the edge of their seats the whole time. Bringing along the props also helped to keep their interest too. Your writing and illustrating tips were excellent, and I hope the students take this advice on board.’ Barbara Johnson, teacher librarian St. Francis Xavier PS, Montmorency
‘Your presentation was fascinating and I thought the way you linked the story with the research process and family connection was perfect’ Jo Laretive, teacher librarian at Moriah College, Sydney
‘I was inspired so much when you came in and how you turned family history into an absolutely amazing book! I really hope that one day I can do the same’ Elena, student at PLC, Melbourne
